Order and e-commerce data
When you place an order through our online parts store, we collect the information necessary to process and fulfil that order, including: your name, delivery address, billing address, order contents and history, and transaction reference numbers. Payment processing is handled directly by our payment gateway provider — we do not store your full card details. Please see the 'Third-party processors' section below.
Device and log data
We may collect information about your device and your use of our site and software, including: browser type, language, device type, IP address, referring website, log files, time and date stamps, and how you navigate and interact with our site. Some of this information, alone or in combination, may identify you personally.
Customer account data

Third-party processors

Shopify

Payment gateway
Payments made through our parts store are processed by our payment gateway provider. Payment card details are entered directly with the payment provider and are not stored by Generational. Our payment provider processes payment data in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
Email marketing
If you subscribe to our newsletter or marketing communications, your email address may be processed by our email service provider solely for the purpose of sending those communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Logistics and fulfilment
Orders placed through our parts store are fulfilled by our third-party logistics partner. We share the delivery name and address necessary to fulfil your order.
Vehicle leasing providers
Where required to deliver our battery testing services, we may share relevant data with your vehicle leasing provider.
